Grant is for $3000
We should have an answer within 6 week of application
If unsuccessful next round of the grant opens 1 July
20 May We have received notification that we were unsuccessful but that our application has been transferred to the next round (no new application needed).

The grant does allow for associations that find out they are hosting after the due date of the current round of grants. Current grant round is for 2010.
Angela has suggested writing a letter to her, which she will pass onto her boss, to see if we can still receive funding for AMUC. No promises but she said it was worth asking.
If 50+ players stay on from AMUC to play the Two Hat can include all of those days for funding as well.
Eligibility for the grant:
- interstate or international visitors must stay at least three days in the state in commercial accommodation to be eligible
- minimum number of visitors in commercial accommodation is 50
- payment is made after event once a statutory declaration is given to Event Tasmania verifying visitor data.
- visitor data must be collected in an approved way
- Event organisers are required to collect four key pieces of data from interstate and international visitors:
- Where have the visitors travelled from?
- How many nights are they staying in Tasmania?
- Where are they staying?
- The role of the event as a motivator for visiting Tasmania.
