The General Committee member
The General Committee member should:
Access to internet, email, web, and a word processing program.
Strong written (especially email) and oral communication skills.
Be a member of the AFDA and TUA and abide by their policies.
Work well in a team.
Communicates effectively and has good interpersonal skills.
Is well organised.
Has a good knowledge of the TUA and AFDA operations, rules and policies.
Is well informed of all organisation activities.
A General Committee Member is appointed by the TUA Executive Committee for a term of 12 months.
The estimated time commitment required as a General Committee Member of the TUA is approximately 5 hours a week.
Attendance at monthly Committee Meetings (approximately 2 hours).
Attendance at the TUA AGM meeting (approximately 1 hour).
